5ive: Interesting Convertibles

1. Mazda MX-5
2. Mazda FC3C RX-7 Turbo
3. Triumph Stag
4. Peugeot 504 V6
5. MGB

Why? Well, the MX-5 is just about the best convertible sports car ever. The FC3C RX-7 is a boulevard cruiser with bite and, best of all, a rotary engine. I've always had a soft spot for Triumph Stags, despite them having a reputation as being mechanically scary. Peugeot 504 V6 convertibles are rarer than hen's teeth in Australia, but they're beautiful. And, the MGB, because they're so much fun, and because opinionated people who like to bag them have usually never driven one.

I'd still take an MX-5, first.
