Citroen C4 wins 2005 WADA

Citroen's C4 has won the first Wheels Automotive Design Award. The judges praised its overall design, innovative interior and elegant detailing.

Interestingly, Wheels has been critical of the C4 as a car to drive, particularly regarding its suspension tune which they say is not ideal for Australian conditions. The C4 is based heavily on the Peugeot 307 which has been similarly criticised in the Australian press (well, Wheels).

Prizes also went to the Audi A6 for Best Exterior and the Ford Territory for Best Interior.

All the details in this month's Wheels Magazine, and possibly on-line later. I was a little disappoointed in the article as I would have liked to see more of the judges comments on the cars, at least on the winners.
