I was struck recently by two very different yet equally beautiful pieces of technology. First, the nixichron, a digital clock that uses nixie tubes to display the numbers. Go, now, have a look at it. As a fan of beautiful but obsolete things, the nixichron is hard to beat.
Second, the Jawbone mobile phone headset. It's not wireless, but it's stainless steel on the outside, translucent on the inside and it would even seem to have been designed to be useful as well as beautiful.
