As it's the end of the year, OZCHI is upon us again. This year I'm going as a student volunteer and I'm also presenting a short paper - "An Ethnography of Speech Recognition". The conference this year is in Wollongong which makes it a half-day drive from Canberra instead of an aeroplane flight away as the two previous OZCHIs were in Melbourne ('02) and Brisbane ('03).
Donna is going, as is one of my supervisors and another academic from uni. We'll be travelling from Canberra to Wollongong together. Road trip!
