Get rid of bullets

Jeffrey Veen at Adaptive Path says that his New Years Resolution is to not give presentations with bullet points.

This year, I’m working on eliminating bullet points entirely from my presentations. I’ve been trying instead to show screenshots, illustrations, or metaphorical imagery while I speak. Then I print an outline and give that to the audience.

I think I'll adopt that, too. I have a feeling my presentations will be heavy on the illustrations, photos and metaphorical imagery and low on screenshots.
